The Direction de l’évaluation foncière de la Ville de Montréal tables the new 2014 assessment rolls of the 16 municipalities of the Montreal urban agglomeration. They will come into force on January 1st, 2014 for fiscal years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
The Direction de l'évaluation foncière of the City of Montreal is presently working on preparing the Assessment rolls for all the municipalities of the agglomeration of Montreal.
The triennial rolls for the years 2014-2015-2016 will be officially tabled on September 11th, 2013 and will come into effect on 1st of January 2014.

Delivery of the reminder letters "without prejudice" concerning the requests for information as part of the collection of economic data, for the preparation of the upcoming rolls.
Documents must be returned before October 12th, 2012. Should the documents not be received within the prescribed time limit, legal action provided by law may be taken by the City without any further notice.

In order to prepare the assesment roll that will be effective on January 1st, 2014, the Direction de l'évaluation foncière de la Ville de Montréal (municipal body responsible for assessment) will soon be assessing the immovables of the 16 municipalities of the urban agglomeration, on the basis of the real estate market conditions as of July 1st, 2012.

With the intention of conforming itself to the decision rendered by the Court of Quebec on March 14th, 2007, the Direction de l'évaluation foncière de la ville de Montreal now broadcasts the name of the owners inscribed on the assesment rolls on its internet consultation site.
As a result, the internet assessment roll extracts now show the name of the main owner of the unit of valuation, and the official form extract introduces all the owners inscribed on the role, with their mailing address,
