Change of postal address

If you own any property(ies) within the Montreal agglomeration and wish to change the correspondence address, you can fill out the Change of Address Form.

You could also use this form to make some other changes:

  • To add or modify a postal attention
    • For example, for a company 1234-5678 Quebec Inc., it is possible to add a postal attention like: c/o: Mr Peter Smith.
  • Modify the language code (French or English)
    • When the owner is an individual (not a company), you have the opportunity to request to receive communications in English. If they already are, you can request to return to French.
  • Modify the principal owner
    • Some buildings belong to more than one owner. For these buildings, mailings are sent to a single owner who then receives all of the documentation from the City. This owner has the principal owner of character. To change this person, you can use the Change of Address Form and identify another primary owner; you must enter the name of the new main owner and notify us of his address, if different from the current mailing address.

The completed form can be sent by mail, fax or email. You can also bring it personally to one of our offices.
