 | 2.1.2 The maximum number of parking spaces in the Borough of Ville-Marie near
metro stations
- The by-laws of the Borough of Ville-Marie must set a
maximum authorized number of parking spaces upon the construction, extension
or change of use of a building located less than 500 metres from a metro
station. These provisions may exclude residential uses.
- The maximum number of parking spaces authorized and located
less than 500 metres from a metro station must be less than that authorized
for the same use elsewhere in the Borough.
2.1.3 The location of parking lots in the Borough of Ville-Marie
- The by-laws established by the Borough of Ville-Marie
must, for sites located west of Amherst, require that the authorized parking
spaces be located indoors upon the construction, extension or change of use
of a building. The construction, extension or change of use of a building for
residential or low-intensity commercial purposes or for heavy commercial or
industrial purposes may be excluded from these requirements.
2.1.4 The maximum number of parking spaces near metro and commuter train stations
located outside of the Borough of Ville-Marie
- The by-laws instituted by boroughs other than the Borough
of Ville-Marie must establish a maximum authorized number of parking spaces
upon the construction, extension or change of use of a building located less
than 500 metres from a metro station or a commuter train station. These provisions
may exclude residential uses.
