 | If you are dissatisfied with the service you received (taxi driver’s conduct, driving, the cleanliness of the vehicle, the cost of the trip or a towing operation), you can make a complaint to the taxi and towing office.
The opening hours are monday through thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- By phone: 514-280-6600
- By mail: 4949 rue Molson, Montréal, QC H1Y 3H6
- By fax: 514-280-6596
- You can also use one of our online complaint forms.
The complaint must contain the following information:
- the date and time of the event
- place
- the driver’s license plate or sticker number (on the right rear window)
- the driver’s permit number, if a taxi driver
- a summary of events
The complaint is then assigned to a team, which will contact the complainant for further information in order to pursue the complaint.
Next, the driver is contacted for his version of the event. If the complaint is justified, he will receive a statement of offence. If he contests the statement of offence, the complainant must come to court.
