Commission des sports, des loisirs et de la culture

This committee is responsible for:

• conducting studies and reporting to Council on all matters concerning sports and recreational activities, including the management of facilities, relations with school boards with regard to sports and recreational facilities and major projects in the Borough bringing large numbers of people together
  
  
• conducting studies and reporting to Council on all matters relating to culture, including the libraries, in the Borough
  
  
• taking into consideration all of Council's requests for studies or reports on specific topics related to the committee's mandate.

The Commission des sports, des loisirs et de la culture (sports, recreational activities and culture committee) is chaired by Borough Councillor Andrée Champoux, whose term of office runs for two years.
