Verdun Canin (Association des propriétaires de chiens de
Verdun)
This dog-owners association is in charge of the wonderful area at Arthur-Therrien
park, where dogs can run freely and socialize. The park is located behind
the baseball fields, on the waterfront, near Monseigneur-Richard high
school.
Members receive a key providing access to the dog run.
Fees: $20 for one dog / $10 for each additional dog +
$5 for the key

4 Paws Club
The 4 Paws Club is the association for dogs-owners located
at L'Île-des-Soeurs. It is also an excellent referral service for those
looking for a kennel, someone to walk or board their dog. The Club is a friendly
place where dogs and dog-owners can socialize. All dogs need to be able to
run off-leash in complete safety.
Hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Registration: by mail or by filling out
the registration form available at the park and at the veterinarian of
L'Île-des-Soeurs.

Refuge pour chats (Verdun)
The mission of this organization is to sterilize and vaccinate cats that
have been abused or abandoned by humans. Through its desire to reduce
feline overpopulation, the Refuge pour chats strives
to find loving homes for animals. The cats are placed in foster homes where
they are lovingly looked after and well cared for by volunteers, the sole
resource and staff of the Refuge.
