Buildings - La Poudrière

This building was built in 1916, during World War I, to help Canadians on the war front. The British Munition Supply Co. was a munitions factory that employed mostly women during the war.
Leaning Italian-style towers, a saw tooth roof that most likely served to prevent sunlight from entering and to contain any shockwaves caused by an accidental explosion (and thus to limit surrounding damage), are some of the features of this building which now houses condos.
