Pêche et Cerf-volant : une légende d’avenir

Grand Prize of Honour in 2003

The Fish and the Kite:  A legend for the future
Inspired by a Chinese legend, the mosaiculture relates the adventures of an old fisherman who discovers a magic painted vase, depicting a child’s miraculous catch, red fish and splashes of water transformed into golden marbles. Coveted by a powerful, jealous man, the vase becomes the subject of a trial, won by the fisherman. The story is a hymn to truth, honesty and confidence.
