2011-2012 Call for Artists' Portfolios

CALL FOR ARTISTS' PORTFOLIOS

In preparing its next cultural season and, in particular, its exhibit program at Centre culturel de Verdun and Centre communautaire Elgar, the Verdun Borough's Direction de la culture, des sports, des loisirs et du développement social is inviting new, emerging and professional visual artists to submit a complete portfolio.

Our mandate is to support young artists by sponsoring their first professional experiences and to disseminate and promote multidisciplinary contemporary art.

Since the exhibits are also presented for the purpose of selling the works and no commission is charged, we don't pay artists any exhibit fees.

During the 2011-2012 season, we will present approximately ten exhibits of paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, ceramics, sculptures and other mediums.

VENUES
