Directions to Verdun
Located on the southwest part of the island of Montréal along the shores of the St. Lawrence River, Verdun is easy to find.
By car
If you come from the north of Montréal, take Autoroute 15 south. Take the Verdun – boulevard de la Vérendrye exit, keep to the right and follow the directions to Verdun - de l'Église. This link becomes, across the bridge, Rue Galt and reach the borough territory. For L'Île-des-Soeurs, just follow the highway until you see exit 57 - Île-des-Sœurs, which is the last one before you get on the Champlain Bridge.
From the west or the east sides of Montréal, you have the choice to take Autoroute 20 or the Autoroute Ville-Marie (to Décarie). Follow the directions for Highway 15 - South Champlain Bridge . Take the Verdun – boulevard de la Vérendrye exit, keep to the right and follow the directions to Verdun - de l'Église. On rue Galt, go across the little bridge to reach the borough of Verdun. For L'Île-des-Soeurs, stay on Autoroute 15 South until exit 57 - Île-des-Soeurs.
From Montréal's South Shore, via Champlain Bridge, exit at 57 - Île-des-Soeurs to arrive to L'Île-des-Soeurs neighbourhood. To go to Verdun, take exit 60 – Verdun - rue Wellington and keep your left. You will find the boulevard Gaétan-Laberge.
From the Honoré-Mercier Bridge, take the first exit (LaSalle - rue Airlie, that becomes boulevard de la Vérendrye) and drive on that road until the Stephens Bridge, where you’ll turn right. This bridge leads to Verdun. For L'Île-des-Soeurs, you stay on de la Vérendrye until Autoroute 15 South. Then, take exit 57 - Île-des-Soeurs.
Public transit
It is very easy to come to Verdun via public transit. Three subway stations, including three in the borough itself, and a large bus network make it easy to get to Verdun.
