Zoning Regulations

The borough of Verdun is divided into residential, commercial, mixed usage, institutional, park and green space zones. Rules apply to the manner in which land and buildings are used in each zone and to the installation, shape and appearance of other structures.

These zones are grouped according to environmental (nuisance, bearing capacity, etc.), functional, aesthetic (architectural features) and socio-economic (impact on existing population, commercial and economic viability) criteria.
