Collection of Green Waste (including leaves)
Every year, green waste collections are organized in the spring and fall.
Your participation in these collections is essential for reducing the amount of
garbage.
What is green waste?
It is organic waste that comes from outdoor spaces, and particularly
from yards as well as plant and flower beds.
By its very nature, it is
seasonal waste whose composition and volume are different from spring to fall.
Once collected, green waste is converted into compost. Mature compost produced
from green waste and leaves is distributed free of charge to residents in the
Agglomeration, twice a year (in the spring and fall), at Complexe
environnemental de Saint-Michel (CESM).
