Verdun has contracted with various patrol services to enforce its regulations. These services cruise the borough's streets, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Member of the patrol team Patrol team members seek to prevent problems from arising. They ensure compliance with by-laws pertaining to park hours, noise and the deposit of household garbage in public trash bins. They also oversee regulations pertaining to dogs, parking, traffic, etc. Also, patrol team members back up the police when the situation warrants. They may also reroute traffic during periods of snow removal.
