 | A rustic preserve between the river and the lake
Montréal's largest park is located on the western tip of the island, at the junction of the Lac des Deux-Montagnes and the Rivière des Prairies. This rustic preserve and its many lookouts over the water offer an ideal setting for a visit to the park's natural sandy beach and organic farm, which raises animals and grows organic produce. Farm activities are offered by the Corporation-D-Trois-Pierres.
The park’s bays are home to many species of animals, including the map turtle, which the Havre aux tortues offers visitors the opportunity to observe in a quiet setting. Environmental science activities are offered by the Groupe uni des éducateurs-naturalistes et professionnels en environnement (GUEPE).
