Exposed to the open wind

The Lachine Canal bike path leads to the shores of Lac Saint-Louis. Other foot and bike paths at the lake itself wind through a lengthy peninsula, known as the Parc René-Levesque, which extends into the St. Lawrence River.

René-Lévesque Park’s Lake Saint-LouisThe original idea was to transform this jetty of the Lac Saint-Louis into an outdoor gallery. Now, along the trails, between the trees and along the shorelines, you can see 22 monumental sculptures by artists from Québec and elsewhere. This exhibition is part of the  Outdoor Lachine Museum, which also comprises the Musée de Lachine.
