Maison du Pressoir

Located in the Île-de-la-Visitation nature park, the Maison du Pressoir House is adjacent to the des Moulins site and its bistro-terrace overlooking the waterfall on the Rivière des Prairies. This historic site dating back to 1806 has been transformed into an interpretation centre, and its picturesque loft is available for business conferences.

A personalized activity service ($) is available, as well as catering by the Bistro-Terrasse des Moulins (514-850-4222):

breakfast (juice, muffins, pastries, coffee, fruit): $5.50 + taxes
morning or afternoon coffee break (coffee, juice, Perrier, sodas) : $3/person
thermos of coffee (30 cups): $20
table d’hote at suppertime (three courses, two choices of main course): $13.25 + taxes and tip

The house can be rented from Monday to Friday, with two time periods: 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.

Directions

By car:
Take Boulevard Henri-Bourassa eastward until you reach Rue de Lille.
Turn on Rue de Lille and head north until you reach Boulevard Gouin.
Turn left onto Boulevard Gouin.
Turn right onto Rue du Pressoir until you reach the Maison du Pressoir.

Public transit:
From the Henri-Bourassa metro station, take bus 69 (Gouin) west and get off at Rue Parthenais.
Cross Boulevard Henri-Bourassa, heading northwest.
Go north on Rue des Prairies.
Turn right onto Boulevard Gouin.
Turn left onto Rue du Pressoir until you reach the Maison du Pressoir.

Accessibility

The Maison du Pressoir is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

Parking capacity

Vehicles must park at the Île-de-la-Visitation nature park’s welcome area, located at 2425 boulevard Gouin, and 70 parking spaces are available.
Cost: $7/day per vehicle.
