Migration

In this work, the animal’s form is transformed into that of a stylized quadruped with a fifth leg. The play with verticality and horizontality balances itself out and confers stability to the anchored figure. The use of iron founding accentuates the sculpture’s balance, while conveying a sense of dynamism in the upper portion of the piece.
