Le jardin de Lyon (The Lyon Garden)
The ground first transforms into a carpet of greenery – a sort of large, flat canvas with shapes and colours changing with the seasons – and the entire place becomes an oversized butterfly box when the sculptor introduces a dozen giant pins, some with lights and other elements of an imaginary bestiary derived from a stylized alphabet used by the homeless. The work takes on the shape of a descriptive forest, which in turn, gives the inclined picture the appearance of a friendly glade.
