La Puerta de la amistad (Friendship’s Door)

The Puerta de la amistad and the architectural elements it contains, such as the colonnade and crown, refer to exchange, passage and openness. The location recalls the signing of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The work, which is in line with Man, by American sculptor Alexander Calder, and Phare du Cosmos, by Canadian sculptor Yves Trudeau, brings together artists from the three signatory countries.
