Révolutions (Revolutions)
This work is inspired by the curved staircases so much a part of Montréal’s identity. Here, by forming a knot, the stairway deconstructs the vertical symbolism normally associated with it. The staircase enables one to enter into the infinite cycle of revolutions, where everything that goes up must come down.
