Council Meetings Live

Citizens can view regular council meetings live through the borough Web site. Regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. No meetings are scheduled in August and January.

The agenda for each meeting is posted on the borough Web site on the Friday preceding the meeting, together with a summary of the resolutions tabled. Citizens can also go to Procédures applicables à la période de questions du public (In French only), in the same section.

Questions by email

It is possible to submit questions to borough council by email prior to each meeting. To receive a live answer, questions must be transmitted to borough council between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. the evening of the meeting. Transmit your question and provide your name, address and telephone number at questions.verdun@ville.montreal.qc.ca.

Archives of borough council meetings

Meetings broadcast live are archived on the borough Web site within 48 hours. It is important to note that only the regular meetings are broadcast and archived. Special meetings are broadcast on occasion, however, for example when they involve the adoption of a budget.
