S.O.U.P. Festival starting at 4 p.m.
Soup—a symbol of exchange, creativity and sharing—is enjoyed by people all over the world. And so with this in mind, we are inviting you to come and sample over thirty different soups, free of charge, in a festive atmosphere. Contests, entertaining performances and activities will also be on the menu! An excellent opportunity to socialize with your neighbours and discover LaSalle's various cultural communities. All festival-goers will be invited to vote for the best soups. Around 7 p.m., the Louche d'Or award will be presented to the organizations and restaurant with the most votes!

Francis Gallant at 7:30 p.m.
Francis Gallant rose to fame after being named a finalist in the Ma première Place des Arts competitions. He then went on to work with Mario Pelchat, Luc De Larochellière and a number of other well-known vocalists. In 2014, he launched his first album, Ma vie en stéréo. Let yourself be carried away by the wonderful music of Francis Gallant…

Freddie James Project at 9:10 p.m.
The six members of this group will get you dancing and singing with the top soul hits of the 1970s. Kool and the Gang, James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder are just some of the great classics that this group will be revisiting in high-style and high-energy performances.

Opt for the bus or a bike
The best way to get to parc des Rapides is by bus, along routes 58 Wellington, 109 Shevchenko, 110 Centrale or 123 Dollard. If you absolutely must use your car, take advantage of the parking facilities at Aréna Jacques-Lemaire. For cyclists, there are secure bike parking facilities in parc des Rapides.
Thanks to the support from the Government of Canada and the Labatt Brewing Company as well as the invaluable cooperation of Club Richelieu de LaSalle, Radio LaSalle CKVL and LaSalle's cultural communities, the Canada Day festivities will be a big success again this year.
