ZONING BY-LAW 1700-65

NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned:

 

THAT the borough council adopted at its regular meeting held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, under resolution CA08 210438, Zoning By-law 1700-65 entitled:  "By-law modifying Zoning By-law 1700, as amended, so as to:

 

                   Include penal provisions applicable for failure to conform to the conditions stipulated in a resolution;

 

                   Include provisions applicable to site maintenance further to the demolition of a building;

 

                   Include provisions applicable to dangerous excavation site fences;

 

                   Repeal the obligation to obtain a certificate prior to shore and coastal intervention;

 

                   Clarify the obligation to obtain a certificate of occupancy to operate a bed and breakfast;

 

                   Clarify the obligation to obtain a certificate of occupancy to operate a supervised residence;

 

                   Include provisions applicable to infill projects in the “h4 multifamily housing” group of uses and in the “h1 single family housing” group of uses;

 

                   Include references to the By-law respecting certificates of approval and certificates of occupancy.”

 

THAT the executive committee approved Zoning By-law 1700-65 at its meeting held on January 21, 2009, under resolution CE09 0099.

 

Interested individuals may consult Zoning By-law 1700-65 at the office of the undersigned located at 4555 rue de Verdun, during regular office hours.

 

In accordance with article 137.15 of the Act Respecting Land Use Planning and Development, Zoning By-law 1700-65 came into force on January 21, 2009, date of issuance of the certificate of compliance.
