Public consultation meeting on draft By-law 1751-1

TO ALL INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED BY DRAFT BY-LAW 1751-1 ENTITLED: “BY-LAW AMENDING LOT SUBDIVISION BY-LAW 1751 SO AS TO:
– Replace the word “Ville” to read “arrondissement” when required; – Modify the designation of the officer in charge in accordance with the current organization chart; – Modify the designation of the enforcement authority issuing statements of offence in accordance with the current organization chart; – Determine applicable fees for first offence; – Increase penalty fees; – Modify the reference to the highway geometric design guide.”
NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned:
THAT the borough council, further to the adoption, by resolution, at its meeting held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, of draft by-law entitled: “By-law 1751-1 amending Lot Subdivision By-law 1751 so as to:
– Replace the word “Ville” to read “arrondissement” when required; – Modify the designation of the officer in charge in accordance with the current organization chart; – Modify the designation of the enforcement authority issuing statements of offence in accordance with the current organization chart; – Determine applicable fees for first offence; – Increase penalty fees; – Modify the reference to the highway geometric design guide.”
shall hold a public consultation meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., in room 205 of the borough hall located at 4555 rue de Verdun, in accordance with the provisions of An Act respecting land use planning and development (R.S.Q., c. A-19.1);
THAT the purpose of this modification is to:
– Replace the word “Ville” to read “arrondissement” when required; – Modify the designation of the officer in charge in accordance with the current organization chart; – Modify the designation of the enforcement authority issuing statements of offence in accordance with the current organization chart; – Determine applicable fees for first offence; – Increase penalty fees; – Modify the reference to the highway geometric design guide.
THAT this draft by-law concerns the entire borough territory;
THAT during this public consultation meeting, the borough mayor shall explain this draft by-law as well as the consequences of its adoption, and shall hear individuals interested in voicing their opinion on this matter;
THAT this draft by-law may be consulted at the borough hall, room 102, 4555 rue de Verdun, during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
