Public consulting meeting on draft By-law 1752-1 (By-law amending By-law 1752 pertaining to minor exemption)

TO ALL INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED BY DRAFT BY-LAW 1752-1 ENTITLED:  by-law amending by-law 1752 pertaining to minor exemption so as to:

 

                    Include a refusal criteria applicable to a request for minor exemption;

                    Include a compliance criteria prior to granting a minor exemption;

                    Include provisions which may not be the subject of a request for minor exemption.”

 

NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned:

 

THAT the borough council, further to the adoption, by resolution, at its meeting held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, of draft by-law entitled: “By-law 1752-1 amending By-law 1752 pertaining to minor exemption so as to:

 

                    Include a refusal criteria applicable to a request for minor exemption;

                    Include a compliance criteria prior to granting a minor exemption;

                    Include provisions which may not be the subject of a request for minor exemption”

 

shall hold a public consultation meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., in room 205 of the borough hall located at 4555 rue de Verdun, in accordance with the provisions of An Act respecting land use planning and development (R.S.Q., c. A-19.1); 

 

THAT the purpose of this modification is to:

 

                    Include a refusal criteria applicable to a request for minor exemption;

                    Include a compliance criteria prior to granting a minor exemption;

                    Include provisions which may not be the subject of a request for minor exemption;

 

THAT this draft by-law concerns the entire borough territory;

 

THAT during this public consultation meeting, the borough mayor shall explain this draft by-law as well as the consequences of its adoption, and shall hear individuals interested in voicing their opinion on this matter;

 

THAT this draft by-law may be consulted at the borough hall, room 102, 4555 rue de Verdun, during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
