Public consultation meeting on draft By-law amending the Montréal Master Plan (04-047)

TO ALL INDIVIDUALS QUALIFIED TO VOTE AND CONCERNED BY DRAFT BY-LAW ENTITLED:  “by-law AMENDING THE MONTRÉAL MASTER PLAN (04-047) AS FOLLOWS:

 

1.      Chapter 24 of Part II of the Montréal Master Plan pertaining to the borough is modified by transferring from the “places of worship” category on the list of buildings of heritage and architectural interest to the “housing” category the building located at “960 rue Moffat”.

 

NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned:

 

THAT the borough council, further to the adoption, by resolution, at its regular meeting held on October 2, 2007, of draft by-law entitled: “By-law amending the Montréal Master Plan (04-047) as follows:

 

1.        Chapter 24 of Part II of the Montréal Master Plan pertaining to the borough is modified by transferring from the “places of worship” category on the list of buildings of heritage and architectural interest to the “housing” category the building located at “960 rue Moffat,”

 

shall hold a public consultation meeting on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at 6:00 p.m., in room 205 of the borough hall located at 4555 rue de Verdun, in accordance with the provisions of An Act respecting land use planning and development (R.S.Q., c. A-19.1);

 

In brief, this draft by-law amends the Montréal Master Plan (04-047) with the following modification:

 

Modify to residential (condominium) the church located at 960 rue Moffat.

 

THAT during this public consultation meeting, the borough mayor shall explain this draft by-law as well as the consequences of its adoption, and shall hear individuals interested in voicing their opinion on this matter;

 

THAT this draft by-law pertains to the building located at 960 rue Moffat;

 

THAT this draft by-law may be consulted at the borough hall, room 102, 4555 rue de Verdun, during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
