Requests for minor exemption

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, at a regular meeting of the borough council to be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at 7 p.m., in the council chamber, room 205, at the borough hall located at 4555 rue de Verdun, said council shall render a decision concerning the following requests for minor exemption to the provisions of Zoning By-law 1700, as amended, so as to:

 

1.      allow the proprietor at 29 rue Claude-Vivier (Symphonia residential development) to install a swimming pool at 1.50 metre from the waterfront woodland boundary instead of the required 3 metres;

 

2.      allow the proprietor at 37 rue Claude-Vivier (Symphonia residential development) to install a swimming pool at 1.07 metre from the waterfront woodland boundary instead of the required 3 metres;

 

3.      allow the proprietor at 39 rue Claude-Vivier (Symphonia residential development) to install a swimming pool at 1.50 metre from the waterfront woodland boundary instead of the required 3 metres;

 

4.             allow trees to be planted in front and side yards instead of backyards, for eight (8) new detached houses in phase I of Symphonia residential development;

 

5.             allow 42 parking spaces to be provided at 301 chemin du Golf (Restaurant Jardin de l'Île) whereas the required number of parking spaces is 63;

 

6.      allow acrylic siding instead of masonry for the building located at 301 chemin du Golf (Restaurant Jardin de l'Île).

 

Individuals wishing to be heard by the borough council concerning said requests may do so at the meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at 7 p.m.
