Public consultation meeting on draft By-law P-07-023

TO ALL INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED BY DRAFT BY-LAW P-07-023 ENTITLED:  “by-law amending the ville de verdun's plumbing by-law number 1638”

 

NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned:

 

THAT the city council adopted at its meeting held on May 28, 2007, a draft by-law bearing number P-07-023 entitled “By-law amending the Ville de Verdun's Plumbing By-law number 1638”;

 

THAT a public consultation meeting shall be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at 6:00 p.m., in room 205 of the borough hall located at 4555 rue de Verdun, in accordance with the provisions of An Act respecting land use planning and development (R.S.Q., c. A-19.1); 

 

THAT the purpose of these modifications is to:

 

                    Allow the use of plumbing material permitted under the Quebec Plumbing Code in all buildings within the borough limits with the exception of existing buildings which have a cellar and a building envelope non-compliant with the borough's Building By-law;

 

THAT during this public consultation meeting, the borough mayor shall explain this draft by-law as well as the consequences of its adoption, and shall hear individuals interested in voicing their opinion on this matter;

 

THAT there are no provisions in this draft by-law requiring approval by referendum;

 

THAT this draft by-law may be consulted at the borough hall, room 102, 4555 rue de Verdun, during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
