Requests for minor exemption

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, at a regular meeting of the borough council to be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 7 p.m., in the council chamber, room 205, at the borough hall located at 4555, rue de Verdun, said council shall render a decision concerning the following requests for minor exemption to the provisions of Zoning By-law 1700, as amended, so as to:

 

1.      allow the golf course parking area, in Zone G03-93, to be laid out with minimal amount of asphalt for ecological purposes and to reduce heat absorption;

2.      allow the concealment of a generator with pre-painted metal screen identical to lean-to building at 14, Place du Commerce, instead of the main building materials or light masonry;

3.      allow the rear installation of privacy screens with nonconforming materials (metal panels) at 119 to 127, chemin de la Pointe-Sud, said privacy screens will have a 5-metre length whereas the required maximum is 4 metres;

4.      allow side junction box installed at a 1-metre distance from the façade instead of the 2-metre minimum and concealed with cedar hedges for properties located at 1 to 53, rue des Parulines, and 77 to 127, chemin de la Pointe-Sud (le Domaine du Cloître residential development);

5.      allow the developer to provide masonry elements on side walls only whereas the zoning by-law requires such elements on all exterior walls for properties located at 1 to 53, rue des Parulines, 77 to 89, chemin de la Pointe-Sud, and 101 to 127 chemin de la Pointe-Sud (le Domaine du Cloître residential development).

Individuals wishing to be heard by the borough council concerning said requests may do so at the meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 7 p.m.
