DRAFT BY-LAW TO SUSPEND, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007, THE INDEXATION CLAUSE OF BY-LAW RCA04 210012 ESTABLISHING THE REMUNERATION OF THE BOROUGH COUNCILLORS AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL REMUNERATIONS.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a regular meeting of the Verdun Borough Council to be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., at the Verdun Borough Hall located at 4555 Verdun Street, room 205, shall be submitted for adoption by the members of the Borough Council, the above-mentioned by-law.A draft of this by-law as well as the notice of introduction were presented at the regular meeting held on February 6, 2007.
This draft by-law is deposited at the office of the Borough Secretary located at 4555 Verdun Street, room 102, where anyone interested may consult same during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of this draft by-law is to suspend, for fiscal year 2007, the indexation clause of By-law RCA04 210012 establishing the remuneration of the Borough Councillors as well as additional remunerations.
This draft by-law will take effect retroactively as of January 1st, 2007.
