Call for a candidate to serve on the natural habitat committee and represent the citizens of Desmarchais—Crawford and Wellington—De-l'Église districts

The Verdun Borough is presently looking for a citizen to serve on the Natural Habitat Committee (CHN) together with two other citizen-members, one member of the Borough Council, a member of a non profit organization, a biologist as well as representative of the Urban Planning and Business Services Department.The term will be for 2 years.
The main tasks of this Committee is to study requests concerning environmental issues as well as concerning the protection and valorization of natural habitats and green spaces, and in some cases, submit a report to the Borough Council.
The Natural Habitat Committee will meet approximately three to four times a year, or as often as required.
The selected candidate must reside in one of the following boroughs of Verdun: Desmarchais—Crawford or Wellington—de-l'Église, and have a very good knowledge of the physical, environmental, social and economic backgrounds of the borough.The candidate must demonstrate an interest regarding environmental issues, have experience in teamwork, be willing to learn the new environmental regulations in order to provide a critical analysis of the issues submitted to the Natural Habitat Committee.
