Requests for minor exemption

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, at a regular meeting of the Verdun Borough Council to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at 7 p.m., in the Council Chamber, room 205 at the Verdun Borough Hall located at 4555 Verdun Street, said Borough Council shall render a decision concerning the following requests for minor exemption to the provisions of Zoning By-law 1700, as amended, so as to:

 

1.       allow a 13% maximum land/built ratio at 100 des Sommets Avenue instead of the required maximum of 11% in the grid of uses and standards H03-89, further to land exchange in favour of the Verdun Borough to expand the waterfront;

 

2.       allow a 15% maximum land/built ratio at 300 des Sommets Avenue (Phases III and IV) instead of the required maximum of 11% in the grid of uses and standards H03-89, further to land exchange in favour of the Verdun Borough to expand the waterfront;

 

3.       allow a maximum of 171 units at 300 des Sommets Avenue (Phase III) instead of the required maximum of 155 units in the grid of uses and standards H03-89, considering that the maximum number of units for all four phases is compliant;

 

4.       allow a maximum of 172 units at 300 des Sommets Avenue (Phase IV) instead of the required maximum of 155 units in the grid of uses and standards H03-89, considering that the maximum number of units for all four phases is compliant;

 

5.       allow 77 parking spaces for visitors at 300 des Sommets Avenue (Phases III and IV) instead of the required minimum of 86 parking spaces further to the addition of green space;

 

6.       allow a 33.62-metre rear setback for the building located at 300 des Sommets Avenue (Phase IV) instead of the 35-metre minimum required in the grid of uses and standards H03-89, further to land exchange in favour of the Verdun Borough to expand the waterfront;

 

7.       allow two (2) telecommunication antennas instead of one (1) at 86 William Paul Street.

 

 

Individuals wishing to be heard by the Verdun Borough Council concerning said requests may do so at the meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at 7 p.m.
