ROUND ROUND ROUND WE GO!
Free activity on the mont Royal
On Mondays and Thursdays starting on June 4, the Association montréalaise des arts et des traditions populaires (AMATP) organises evenings of traditional folk dances at BeaverLake in Mount RoyalPark.
On Mondays, a qualified teacher teaches some twenty different dances, at a pace that accommodates all participants’ learning abilities. (7:30 p.m.)
Thursday, more experienced dancers can dance to a variety of music and rhythms. No less than sixty dances will be presented, mainly from the Balkans and the Middle East. (7:30 p.m.)
These evenings are free and open to both beginners and more advanced dancers. Seven years and older are welcome.
