SUPPORTERS SOUGHT

With more than 1,000 participants and a team of 300 volunteers, the International Gymnix has come of age and is now the largest international gymnastics competition in Canada.

Want to see first-hand what the excitement's all about? 
Tickets are available for international competitions on Friday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 11 at 12: 30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m.

BECOMING A GYMNAST

The organization behind the competitions also allows children to meet the athletes and discover gymnastics through introductory workshops. Registration on the International Gymnix Web site is required.

Children aged 2 to 5

Wednesday, March 8 - Thursday, March 9 

One-hour initiation to gymnastics through workshops with certified trainers.

Children aged 5 and up

Wednesday, March 8 – Thursday, March 9 – Friday, March 10

Initiation to gymnastics in the form of workshops lasting about two and a half hours. Participants will also attend a training session or a competition with a guide, meet high-performance athletes (autographs, photos and mini-conference), and depart with a little souvenir.
