This project is part of a vast operation to revitalize the Parc des Anciens-Combattants, located on rue Rose near boulevard des Sources.

The new facility will include service buildings and quays meant to facilitate the practice of non-motorized nautical activities, such as sea kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding.

The park will be redesigned to accommodate various other sports and recreation activities, such as beach volleyball, pétanque, fitness training circuits with exercise stations, and so on.

Visitors will also benefit from new walking trails and a convivial picnic area.

Work operations are set to begin in the spring of 2017, while the construction of the quays is slated for 2018.

This project is being financed by the Ville de Montréal.
Investment by the city: $1 million
