The multi-purpose 116-seat hall with stage area will play host to a variety of cultural activities, including shows, lectures, workshops and exhibitions.

The new building will promote civic and political life by serving as a venue for public consultations and borough council meetings. This unifying project is intended to instill pride and nurture a sense of belonging in the community.

The new facility will be adjacent to the current public library at Parc Eugène-Dostie, which is at the heart of the borough’s cultural, sporting and community life. The new hall is slated to open in 2017.

This project is receiving financial support from the Ville de Montréal and the L’Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève borough.
Investment by the city: $1.9 million
